Open Internet Explorer favorites or enter a web address before opening IE

A useful quick way to open your favorites or type in a web address before you even open Internet Explorer can be done right from the Taskbar.  To add the ‘Links’ and ‘Address’ bar to your Taskbar, follow these steps.

Step 1:  Right click your Taskbar, then select Properties.

Step 2:  Select the Toolbars tab.

Step 3:  Check the box next to Address and Links

You will not be able to always select one of your Internet Explorer favorites or type in a web address before needing to open Internet Explorer or regardless of how many windows you have open.
